What a whirlwind few months it has been! I have a couple of new and exciting updates for ya.
First off, and most excitingly, my one-woman show BikeFace toured to both Toronto and Hamilton Fringe Festivals this July and August, and not only did we SELL OUT our entire run at the Toronto Fringe's Annex theatre, we earned rave reviews from both and spots in each cities' BEST OF FRINGE programming! Our Best of Toronto Fringe date is August 18th at 9:00PM- tickets are on sale now and can be obtained here: http://www.tocentre.com/programs/best-toronto-fringe-theatre-festival
We are in a lineup with INCREDIBLY talented artists, and I am so grateful and thankful to have been included in this whole process. It's been such an amazingly exciting ride- and I'm sure BikeFace doesn't end here. We have PLANS for touring past the Fringe festivals. I am so psyched.
I also have a top secret film project lined up for this fall- but shhhh, I can't tell yet! Suffice to say I'm going to be the lead in a hilarious and heartfelt short film written and produced by talented superwomen, and couldn't be happier. Stay tuned for more details! xoxo

Wowowow, look who finally updated their website. It's me, back from a crazy and wonderful year essentially off the representation grid. 2017 was the year of change- I dropped my agent, chopped all my hair off in the name of truly embracing my Quirky Best Friend hit, got my ass in gear and started producing my own work.
To sum up: my theatre company, Rural Stages Productions, nearly sold out our first EVER show, The Last Five Years, in Waterford Ontario; I co-wrote, produced and acted in Welcome to the Bunker! at the Toronto Fringe, a weird, hilarious zombie bunker comedy which sold out its run and had people rolling in their seats; and I backpacked across Europe and started a comedic travel blog (www.clareiswanderlost.com SHAMELESS PLUG PLEASE LOVE ME).
And it doesn't stop there! 2018 is off to an AMAZING start: I fulfilled a life goal and was accepted into the Second City Conservatory- look for my class's first mainstage show on the 28th of April (Saturday at 3:00PM), AND wrote/directed/produced and starred in my first short film with my partner-in-crime-and-comedy Ryan F. Hughes. It's about a police detective interrogating an elven princess LARPer about a suspicious drug ring. We're gonna be shopping it around festivals and putting it ALL over the social medias, so watch out for that!
I'm now working on the art of writing comedy pitches for online content. It's been a hell of a year. And what's next? I'm doing a ONE WOMAN SHOW at this year's Toronto and Hamilton Fringe Festivals! Written by the incredibly talented Natalie Frijia, BikeFace is the story of one women's amazing journey biking solo across Canada. I. am. so. psyched. More details to come!

A few show updates for you here!
This previous weekend I opened two shows with Dauntless City Theatre- Twelfth Night, in which I play the delightful Countess Olivia, and Winter's Tale, where I am playing both Emilia and Clown. They are site-specific, immersive pieces of Shakespeare in Toronto's beautiful St. James Park, and run Friday-Sunday every weekend in August. For more information, check out the Facebook event here: https://www.facebook.com/events/146152672484204/
I really hope to see you out!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, The Last Five Years will now be happening in April 2017. I am so excited to bring you further news as it develops.

Summer is finally here! Yay! I've been super lucky to have had some great auditions lately, and have a few shows coming that I am so very excited about.
First off- Drunk Romeo and Juliet at the Mod Club, with Dauntless City Theatre! I'll be playing Juliet, and will hopefully make it through the show! Find out more information about the show and tickets at https://www.facebook.com/events/474879752716458/
I am also going to be producing and starring in The Last Five Years, alongside the amazing Ryan Bommarito, with Rural Stages Productions this October! There will be much more information to come, but it's safe to say I am SO excited. Stay tuned!

Happy New Year! I have such good feelings about what 2016 is going to bring.
My improvised Shakespeare band of ruffians has a name for our show: Situation Unknown! Look for the name in GTA libraries near you in April!
I'm super excited to be taking Lynne Cormack's Small Role Workshop this coming Saturday. She's such a great teacher and wonderful human.
Auditions are slowly rolling in for various theatre things- keeping my fingers crossed and staying positive, and in between I'm seeing some amazing theatre by incredible artists. Man, sometimes this industry just rocks.

I'm so excited to announce I'll be reading plays by Alex Dault and Brandon Crone as part of Monkeyman Production's As Written series at the Palmerston Theatre this Thursday, December 3rd! If you're interested in checking out amazing actors reading amazing playwright's works, check out the Facebook page here!

It's been a Shakespeare-filled year so far- I've performed at the Storefront Theatre for Star Wars: The Jedi Doth Return, with Red One Collective and Redheaded Coffeeshop Girl, performed as Beatrice in a drunken rendition of Much Ado About Nothing for Dauntless City Theatre, and all this summer I was a part of the Guerrilla Ruffian Squad, under the direction of Shakespeare in the Ruff, doing Shakespeare around the city.
I'll be participating in the Toronto Shakespeare Festival next April as part of the Guerrilla Ruffians (a company created by Shakespeare in the Ruff), along with Spur of the Moment Shakespeare, Shakey-Shake and Friends, and more. We're going to be doing improvised Shakespeare in libraries around the GTA. I'm so excited to work with some of the best young Shakespearean talent Toronto has to offer!
In August, I closed a week-long run of a new Canadian play by Tanisha Taitt, called Keeper. Directed by Ayesha Mansur, it was extremely well-met with fabulous reviews. Look for us to remount in the future!
In the meantime, I'm keeping busy writing my zombie web series. It's ridiculous and fun and I know you're going to love it. Stay tuned!
